Our ongoing project, “Renovation and
Construction of (Gawara, Khdrjija, Lawara,
Haji Shekhan, Khabat) Roads,” encompasses
a comprehensive range of construction and
renovation activities. The project involves

preparation, subbase installation, basecourse
construction, and the installation of drainage
culverts.
Furthermore, the scope extends to road
shoulder works, implementing flexible paving
with stabilizer and binder layers to enhance the
road’s durability and stability. In addition to the
construction aspects, our team is dedicated
to the maintenance of Khabat road. This
involves the removal of damaged pavement
and re-paving with a stabilizer layer, ensuring
the continued functionality of this crucial
transportation route.

Bragh Overpass Bridge Project involves
constructing an overpass bridge near Bragh
village, adhering to the Iraqi and International
Roads Manuals for survey and design. The
bridge structure includes geotechnical
investigations foundations, four ramps,
abutments, a pier, wing walls, retaining walls,
and precast girders. Other works include
applying multi-layers of pavements, lighting,
drainage, guardrail, handrail, and other
finishing works.

The 150-meter Road project is one of the KRG’s flagship strategic projects which encircles Erbil for a total
of 70 kilometers, and HMH Company Under the name Hemn Group as a subcontractor has undertaken
construction and completed the third phase of this ring road which starts from Bahrka and continues towards
Gazna road.
The project consists of:
– Clearing and Grabbing 112,000 m2.
– Cutting works 286,928 m3.
– Filling works 311,453 m3.
– Subbase application of two layers, a total quantity of 65,495m3

HMH Company located a promising spot in the
middle of Erbil city to construct the corporation’s
main operation building, the building is designed
to accommodate all HMH group companies and
facilitate quality, communication and efficiency of
operations.
The new building includes multiple single rooms for
management and multiple workstations, meeting
rooms, conference rooms, training rooms, comfort
areas and some accommodation units for our expat
team members. The building is provided with the
latest smart systems to enhance work quality and
environment, as well as health and safety of all HMH
members.
Material used in the construction of the building are
tested for thermal conductivity and sound insulation,
environment friendly building material has been
selected by our architects to assure breathable and
clean environment with lowest power consumption.
Lighting system in the building depends majorly of
sunlight engineered to infiltrate the building and
provide healthy and natural source of lighting.
Waste water treatment system reduces the impact
on the environment and the treated water is used
again to water vegetations that are grown on the
premises.
30% of HMH building land area is used as open
space for growing crops and provision of parking
space avoiding causing congestion on the main
road traffic.
The building construction took more than one year
and costed around 1.2 million US dollars.

The WADA Tajdid Water Project (WADA) is a USAID-funded program implemented by Chemonics International in Iraq. The objective of WADA is to strengthen the capacity of local governments for strategic water planning, build their institutional capacity to improve management and improve water service delivery. The purpose of this project is to supply and provide materials such as; various types of pipes with the accessories and other associated commodities for repair and rehabilitate the Soran water network. Materials/Goods be delivered to the Chemonics designated receiving stores by HMH Company. HMH Company is ensuring that the Materials/ Goods are received by Chemonics are in accordance with the requirements, standard specifications, instructions, terms, and conditions

We as HMH company currently constructing for highway project named as Gopal road, The completion of this project will increase movements on the road for both business and passenger as well as economic development beside safety and also will decrease travel duration ERBIL and DUHOK.
Overall Length: 9850 meters + 6000 meters of ramp.
Clearing and grubbing: 592,000 m2.
Cuttings: 2,100,000 m3.
Fillings: 980,000 m3.
Subbase course application with two layers with finisher: 150,000 m3.
Construction of main road between Erbil – Duhok :
The road constructed as 2-Lane-2-Way road with platform wide is to be minimum 26 meters with mediums and shoulders, construction started from station 28+150 To 32+500, in order to complete the project many soil types is excavated in different sections of road to rectify to the designed level and suitable material is used to fil. The finishing level of subbase layer applied with two layers by automatic finisher. The project also covers the construction of shallow filtration according to AASHTOO and Iraqi technical specifications to provide the project more sustainable life span approximate length approximately 6000 meters length.
Construction of interchange (Clover leaf) in Erbil- Duhok Gopal road, the interchange connects Erbil city to Duhok :
city main road to the motor way section road. All cutting and filling with subbase course layer applied in the project according to the design levels and client satisfaction, the overall length of interchange of clover leaf is to be 6000 meters length covering approximately 180,000 m2 area, application of cutting filling with suitable material with adequate levels, slopes and grades are applied.
Construction of Erbil – Duhok motorway :
The project is considered from the top priority project in the KRG government with low level of tolerance and high level of specifications of international express way standards followed. HMH company constructed the 1st phase of project from station 32+700 To 38+200 km with 4-Lane-2-Way platform that the total width is to be 33.5 meters up to 43 meters wide with medium and shoulders.

The main aim of the project was protecting the guest house land from collapsing due to the bad compound of the area. The first activity was testing of the soil in order to design a compatible design to the area depending on the test results. 3 retaining walls (8m,8m and 11m) and 183 piles were designed and constructed. Due to the huge amount of the underground water, the drilled excavations were full of water. Tremie method has been used during pouring concrete to protect the concrete from losing or reducing the strength. In addition, the total amount of concrete was (14,675) cubic meters.
