Scope of Work

We as HMH company currently constructing for highway project named as Gopal road, The completion of this project will increase movements on the road for both business and passenger as well as economic development beside safety and also will decrease travel duration ERBIL and DUHOK.

Overall Length: 9850 meters + 6000 meters of ramp.

Clearing and grubbing: 592,000 m2.

Cuttings: 2,100,000 m3.

Fillings: 980,000 m3.

Subbase course application with two layers with finisher: 150,000 m3.

Construction of main road between Erbil – Duhok :

The road constructed as 2-Lane-2-Way road with platform wide is to be minimum 26 meters with mediums and shoulders, construction started from station 28+150 To 32+500, in order to complete the project many soil types is excavated in different sections of road to rectify to the designed level and suitable material is used to fil. The finishing level of subbase layer applied with two layers by automatic finisher. The project also covers the construction of shallow filtration according to AASHTOO and Iraqi technical specifications to provide the project more sustainable life span approximate length approximately 6000 meters length.

Construction of interchange (Clover leaf) in Erbil- Duhok Gopal road, the interchange connects Erbil city to Duhok :

city main road to the motor way section road. All cutting and filling with subbase course layer applied in the project according to the design levels and client satisfaction, the overall length of interchange of clover leaf is to be 6000 meters length covering approximately 180,000 m2 area, application of cutting filling with suitable material with adequate levels, slopes and grades are applied.

Construction of Erbil – Duhok motorway :

The project is considered from the top priority project in the KRG government with low level of tolerance and high level of specifications of international express way standards followed. HMH company constructed the 1st phase of project from station 32+700 To 38+200 km with 4-Lane-2-Way platform that the total width is to be 33.5 meters up to 43 meters wide with medium and shoulders.
