Scope of Work

The scope included the construction of a new
common trench from E-Pad to CPF passing
by G-Pad road intersection to accommodate
(4) 6” Soluforce flowlines from E-Pad to G-pad
road intersection point and (6) 6” Soluforce
flowlines from G-pad road intersection point
to CPF. Work items consisted of the excavation of
trench in all types of soil for the length of 4560
meters, laying bedding material, laying Soluforce
flowlines, padding on top of the flowlines, laying
11KV power cable and 3*fiber optic cables on
top of the flowlines, padding on the cables,
warning tape installations, backfilling of the
trench and reinstatement of the access road
according to all engineering specifications and
standards requested by the client. Part of the
work was conducted inside the Early Production
The facility and another part of the work was inside
the Central Production Facility where extreme
safety and quality measures were required. The
the entire length of the new trench was excavated
in approximate of 1 meter away from an existing
live line of (4) 6” Soluforce flowlines and 11KV
power cable and maximum remaining width of
the access road of about 4 meters which was
controlled by implementing a detailed risk and
traffic man.
